Ready for lift off with space buns

Space buns, those little buns on top of your head, are ideal for keeping your hair out of your face while dancing, without compromising on the cute-factor. That's why they are back this season. Combine small space buns with wavy locks or bundle all your hair in the buns. They are also super easy to decorate with cute hair accessories. Braid a ribbon through your buns for a colourful detail or finish them off with a cheerful hairpin. Glitter at your hairline or throughout your hair creates a real space effect.

Braids with a touch extra

Braids of all shapes and sizes give your hairstyle just a little extra flair and are ideal for day 2 or 3 of the festival, when your hair doesn't sit so well anymore. Go for a thick braid and mix it with pretty ribbons for extra colour in your hairdo. Or let it hang loose and make some small braids in several places, finished off with pretty beads or different coloured elastic bands. With a nice braid you can go either way and still look festival fresh even on day 3!

The super-practical bun

A loose bun on top of your head is of course supereasy and practical, as you can make a good bun in no time. Going for a multi-day festival? Then tie your bun with a scrunchie. These big, soft rubber bands are comfortable all day and won't pull on your hair. They are also super cute to wear as bracelets. Combine a bun with a few loose strands, small braids with beads or a few pretty hairpins to make your hairstyle just that bit more festive.

Hairbands and bandanas

A bandana over your hair gives you an instant hippy look: perfect for those summer festivals and it instantly hides greasy hair. Hair bands are also ideal to give you a bit of a sleek look anyway. With all the different prints and colours, you can create a different look every day and thanks to the soft fabric, they are super comfortable too.

Comfortable hair elastics are your friend

During a summer party, you want to have something different on your mind than squishy hair elastic bands. If you often change your hairstyle, take a pair of cable elastics or comfortable scrunchies with you. The cable elastics are nice and stretchy and therefore perfect for different hairstyles They also have a good grip on your hair. Scrunchies are nice and soft for your hair and are all different colours, so there is always one to match your outfit.
